Simple Meditation
Take 5 minutes, maybe even 15 minutes. Today I ended up taking 16 minutes for myself at the studio once my work day was done to do my 30 minute strength training workout before I went home. My meditation was longer than normal as my mind was stuck in a sad spot, rare, but it happens and I'm grateful that I have the tools I need to pull myself out. Then it hit me that others could benefit from this.
Remember Gratitude.
I might sound like a broken record, but it’s true. I had forgotten to take time to do this and I could feel it.
Find a moment in your day to be still.
You can have music going if it helps keep your mind focused. You can simply think the thoughts or write them down.
Pick a relationship or connection you have.
Whatever pops in your mind, go with that. Don’t overthink it. I have done this with relationships and business.
3 things you are grateful for.
Things that you feel deeply in your heart without any hesitation. Think about them and own them fully in your mind, body, soul and spirit. If you feel any weariness in your body or if you second guess the concept that entered your mind, let it go and move on.
Once you have awareness of those 3 grateful concepts, now think of 3 things you’d like to improve that are linked to the first focus. Just the same, believe with your whole being that the request is possible but also let go of the control and release it to source to aid in making it happen.
Let me clarify what I mean by “improve” for example a request could be “May they see their inner truth and understand how to move forward and heal. If they are open to it.”
I hope you found this meditation helpful.
