Couples Massage Class
Learn simple ways to help each other relax and feel better.
What!? Exciting, right?
I’ve been working on this class for about a year—trying different formats, ideas, and approaches until I finally had one of those aha! moments back in October: Keep it simple.
The last time I offered a class like this was over six years ago, but this time it’s different.
The focus is clear and practical—low back, hips, and shoulders—the areas most people could use extra support and care.
What You’ll Learn
This 1.5 hour class is all about learning easy, effective ways to help someone else feel better—partner, friend, or family member. You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to learn. The goal is to learn a few new skill and practice them till you feel comfortable doing it before moving on to the next skill. My goal is to potentially teach you 7 new skills.
Together we’ll go over:
Basic massage techniques
Fascia work
Gentle stretching
Foam rolling
You’ll walk away with tools you can safely use at home between professional sessions.
(Just a note: this class doesn’t provide professional certification—it’s for personal learning and connection.)
The Details
When: Thursday, February 13th at 6:30 PM
Duration: 1.5 hours
Cost: $160 per couple
Space: Limited to 3 couples per class to ensure personal attention
And don’t worry—this isn’t just for romantic couples! Friends, siblings, or anyone who wants to learn to support someone else through touch are all welcome.
What to Expect
You’ll stay fully dressed throughout class—just wear something loose and comfortable like sweatpants and a t-shirt or yoga pants.
Each couple will have their own Japanese floor mattress to use during class. If you have trouble getting down on the floor, just let me know in advance so we can make accommodations.
I will give specific cues while you work on your partner to ensure you are working to tissues appropriately.
If an issue comes up and my skills are required I will asked if the partner on the mat is comfortable with me massaging the area. Just for a few minutes to give relief allowing the teaching to continue.
How to Sign Up
If you’re interested, simply email me to reserve your spot.
I’ll send over a payment link and a short intake form if you’re new (or if it’s been a while since your last session).
If you absolutely need to cancel – you’ll receive credit toward a private session for both of you in my room at the studio, scheduled at a time that works best.
A Class for Connection
This class is about slowing down, learning something new together, and reconnecting through simple touch and presence. Whether you’re a couple, best friends, or family, you’ll leave with techniques you can use anytime someone you care about needs a little relief.
