My Coloring Book

Understanding Reiki Basics a Coloring Book became an idea once I completed my level 3 reiki training. I didn’t see it coming right away but it clicked on my drive home! Looking back on that it makes a great deal of sense actually. 

The concept of understanding energy through reiki helped my brain connect so many dots to things I already knew but I didn’t have the terms for. For me it was just a gut knowing. The coloring book came from a place in my childhood, a place where I didn't have an adult to guide me. I had to figure it out on my own.

The original goal of Understanding Reiki Basics a Coloring Book was to help teach kids in a simple way, the difference between intuition and imagination. As the coloring book was being created, students would see rough drafts of pages and get excited. At that time I realized this coloring book didn’t have an age. It was for everyone! 

I worked with a local artist to get my vision across, a local printing company, and I got it copyrighted by the United States. That was a very long process and so much time and love and learning was needed for its creation.
