A Second Tea Blend
As I continue to harvest herbs from my garden with this wild second wave of warmth here in MN, I’m so excited to say that I have been able to create a tea blend that supports the immune system with them. I’ve actually been working on this for about 6 years between making client blends and things for my family.
As I began to combine all eight herbs together and try it out myself, I noticed how powerful the sedative effect from the Yarrow is. Which surprised me when I experienced it for myself. It made me very sleepy and I slept so deeply. I thought it might be just me and I had my boys try it one night and they experienced a deeper sleep and one of them even noticed he fell asleep faster.
As a bonus, the lymphatic drainage and digestive release from this blend is awesome!
In looking at all these herbs and their properties I shouldn't be at all surprised, but I was. Sometimes it’s the experience that makes you go woah!
What’s in the tea?
8 different herbs! Here's why:
Marshmallow Root: Aids in soothing inflammation in your digestion.
Marshmallow Leaf: An anti-inflammatory coating that lines your throat, stomach, and aids in digestion.
Yarrow: Anti microbial, aids the kidney, liver, and sedative/sleepy effects.
Cleavers: Reduces swelling from the lymphatic system (it’s a diuretic, allowing you to naturally urinate excess fluid)
Lemon Balm: Antiviral and antibacterial and supports digestion and reduces anxiety.
Mullein Leaf: Respiratory and digestion support, antibacterial, and antiviral.
Dandelion Leaf: Fiber, vitamins, minerals, liver support, and aids in reducing stress.
Licorice Root: Aid stomach lining as it’s anti-inflammatory and targets heartburn and indigestion. Plus it’s a respiratory aid for soothing the lungs and throat.
The name of this tea blend is Immune Boost. With its sedative effects I'd recommend enjoying a cup before bed. Also, the effects of the Yarrow don’t necessarily kick in the moment you take your first sip. It can take 15 or 20 minutes. The feeling I experienced was very calming and relaxing. How tired you are may determine how quickly you notice it.

The tea bags are reusable.
There are 3 servings in each bag.
You can re-steep the tea until you notice the flavor is gone.
