My Journey with Singing Bowls.

Two New Tibetan Singing Bowls

Whenever we end up going on a road trip be it for a day or longer I often find treasure in the most unexpected places. Two years ago we got stuck up in Ely due to car issues, but it gave us time to wander around a little more than we might have. There is this absolutely adorable little shop in Ely and I decided to wander in and simply enjoy the atmosphere. Little did I know that there was a large Tibetan singing bowl on a shelf tucked away on a corner with very random meditation tools. I picked it up and it sang so lovely, I was feeling a lot of joy and how do I get you home? The connections are always so strong with these bowls, they pull me. So home with me this antique bowl came.

Last year my guys wanted to take me to a cute town in WI. So off we went one day for a day trip, we wandered around town and came across an antique shop and I really wanted to go in. Yes, antique shops have a lot of energy in them, it’s the energy of the owner of the item in many cases. That could be a whole blog in itself. Anyway, I stood in the front of the store for a while not understanding just why. I then began to wonder around, which helped to answer an energy that I was feeling. Once that was realized I went back to the front and there I noticed in a locked case were Tibetan meditation tools. There I ended up getting a Japanese tibetan temple bell and a very very old bell dating back to (401 A.D India)

This year we ended up going on an impromptu trip to Iowa and the feeling hit to check out an antique shop or something. We went to an antique shop in Spirit Lake IA and interestingly enough I found bandanas with soft old fabric, my eyes lit up. Oh and no, I don’t go into every antique shop I come across. If it feels like it’s not the right place I just don’t go. As we kept heading back to MN we found places in Mankato. We stopped and it was like I was being pulled with no time for pleasantries with the owner. I saw the moon bowl first, this confused me because when I realized it was mine and I looked up I saw the others that I seemed blind to. That's when I saw this very unusual Tibetan Singing Bowl, I had never seen anything like it. It played so beautifully.

In doing some research I’ve learned that this bowl is rare. Its name is Karma Crafter Lingam Tibetan Singing Bowl. This bowl connects with the Sacral chakra it aids in bringing peace to your womb space bringing balance to the heavens and earth and it taps into masculine energy. What does that mean?

Whether you are a man or woman our inner masculine can get pulled on. This is your inner strength and can lead to burn out. Plus this energy is used in our womb/creation space in understanding and supporting who it is we want to be in this life. The creation of our professions, connection with our partner, or having to keep defending yourself in situations throughout your day or life. Over time it all wears us down. The importance of recovery cannot be stressed enough in order to balance working hard and allowing yourself to be in the feminine energy.

Yes, we both have masculine and feminine energy within us. Energetically it’s sometimes referred to as our Yin and Yang. The right side of the body is Yang masculine energy, your inner strength and it’s where difficult interactions with men are held as well. The left side of the body is Yin feminine energy, your inner feelings looking to be validated and honored and it’s where difficult interactions with women are held as well.

The second bowl is black with the moon phases on it, more sacral and womb healing with a focus on the feminine and the color, it simply means old emotions that could be from when you were younger, growing in the womb or a past life experience. Our bodies and energy knows when it’s time to release what you are ready to process.

With all that said, I’m looking forward to using these new bowls during sessions and classes.
